Ms. Zhang graduated from Nanjing University in China in 2013 with a major in Geology and a minor in Geochemistry. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant at Key Laboratory of Surficial Geochemistry in Nanjing University. Zuyue participated in the research on the chemical weathering of the drainage basin of Nanjing Purple Mountain, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. She became interested in lab working and data analysis. Zuyue now is enrolled in the Professional Master’s Program of Subsurface Geoscience at Rice University, focusing on geology to further develop the skills required for future work. Her plan is to become a technical expert in geology and pursue a career in the oil and gas industry. After graduation, she secured a full-time position with Schlumberger in China.
