It's an effortless way to discover opportunities at amazing startups, even if you don't have a design or coding background.
¬†Career Gear is a national non-profit organization that builds strong families and communities by empowering low-income men to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. We promote the economic independence of low-income men by providing financial literacy training, a network of support, professional attire, career development tools, job-readiness and essential life-skills training that help men enter the workforce, stay employed and become role models and mentors to their families and communities.
The Houston affiliate was formed in 2004 after realizing that men were receiving little to no resources to secure interview appropriate attire and job readiness training as they prepared for upcoming job fairs and interviews.¬†

The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. ¬†Since 1998, Dress for Success Houston has provided business attire, a much-needed boost of confidence, and job retention and career advancement services to more than 30,000 women in the Houston community.¬†

Interfolio is not affiliated with the Center for Career Development or Rice University, so students are encouraged to carefully read the Interfolio user agreement, which is subject to change.¬†A dossier service is a way for you to collect, store, distribute and track letters of recommendation and other important academic or professional documents. This is often helpful when preparing for applications to graduate school or if you are considering a career in academia. You may choose to manage your own files, or you can establish an account with one of the electronic dossier file services available on the market.
