Ms. Fan graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2013 with a bachelor degree in Earth & Environmental Science in 2013. After graduation, she worked as a research intern at PetroChina, where she developed great interests in using geophysical exploration methods, especially seismic data interpretation. Ziqian also did an honor thesis on sedimentary process in Explorers Cove, Antarctica during her study at Vanderbilt University. Ziqian is now enrolled in the Professional Science Master’s program to gain skills necessary to solve problems in geophysical exploration and to enhance her business skills. She decides to focus on geophysics and combines her experience in sedimentary research to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry. After graduation, she secured a full-time position with China National Petroleum Company.
