Mr. Wan graduated from University of Science and Technology of China with a B.S. in Applied Physics in 2006. He then came to Rice to pursue PhD study in Space Physics. Realizing his preference for industry over academia and being attracted by the interdisciplinary curriculum and practical training, he decided to transfer to the Professional Master's program to better prepare himself for his career goals. He is conducting his internship at Hart Energy. He accepted employment with Parkhurst Resources in Houston, TX.
