Mr. Siho Yang graduated from Seoul National University in 2014 with B.S.s in Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Energy Resources Engineering (double major).
After graduating, Siho has been working for over six years in an E&P company, where he works as an exploration geologist performing basin analysis and G&G interpretation, and a new venture business developer conducting economic analysis and scrutinizing legal contracts. As a business-oriented geologist, he had multifarious experiences globally in full-cycle business development across the exploration and development stage, including LNG businesses.
He is a committed businessman who is able to, not only to work as a team with international and multi-disciplinary colleagues, but also to resiliently adapt to the state-of-art application and uncertain industry environment, which are, he believes, core values to survive in the energy industry.
Siho enrolled in the Subsurface Geoscience with a focus on Energy Data Management and MBA coordinated master’s program at Rice to broaden his boundary in the energy industry.
