Mr. Mathukutty received his bachelor of science degree in Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology from the University of Texas Petroleum & Geosystems Engineering Dept in Austin, Texas in 2005. Shibu worked his way through college and has extensive job experience with geo-related companies. Before joining the Subsurface Geoscience program he held a position as Geologic Engineer with Quicksilver Resources, Inc. gaining experience in subsurface geologic mapping, seismic interpretation, horizontal well completions, log analysis, drilling operations and geographic information systems. Shibu’s goal was to increase his technical skills to be able to advance his career. Shibu interned with Landmark Halliburton and accepted a job offer from them after his graduation.
