Mrs. Neyda Maymi has a B.A. in Geology from Texas Tech University and a B.A. in Technical Communication from the University of North Texas. Over nine years, she gained working experience as a Reserve Determinatin Analyst and Geologist at Luminant LLC; as a Drilling Fluids Engineer for Halliburton; a Mining and Operations Geologist for Pioneer Natural Resources.

Neyda enrolled in the Subsurface Geoscience program with a focus on Energy Data Management to combine her industry experience with the data management and manipulation skillset offered in the curriculum. She is also participating in the DOERR Institute's leadership program to round out her education and soft skills. She is looking to apply her expanded knowledge in the energy industry.
