Mr. Prudhomme graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Science in General Geology in December of 2009. He discovered his interest in geophysics near the end of his undergraduate degree in Austin, and decided to further his education in the geophysical field as a postgraduate. He worked as a research assistant for Dr. Mark Cloos at the University of Texas, as an undergraduate assistant at the Bureau of Economic Geology, and completed a 12-week summer internship with the Unconventional Resource Team for an exploration and production company, Mariner Energy, Inc. Matthew chose the Subsurface Geoscience track to further enhance his education and be better prepared for a career in business or industry. Matt secured an internship with Shell, and accepted employment with them after graduation.
