Ms. Platunova graduated with a Master’s of Science in Petroleum Geology from Tomsk Polytechnic University in Russia in 2002. After graduation she worked for Slavneft Oil and Gas company in Western Siberia as petroleum geologist where she occupied the lead position of the geo- and reservoir simulation group at the analytical-science center of Slavneft. Ms. Platunova currently holds the position of Earth Modeling Geoscientist for Paradigm Geophysical Co. She entered the PSM program of the Geoscience Track at Rice University as part-time student to focus on geological and geophysical disciplines to advance her career in the oil- and gas industry. Irina graduated in 2015.
