Ms. Park graduated from PusanNation University in Busan, Korea with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology. She has been employed at Korea Gas Corporation, the biggest liquefied natural gas importer and distributor in the world, where she worked as part of the company’s management information system team, and their investment planning department. Hyangseon decided to undertake graduate studies at Rice University to upgrade her capabilities as a technical expert and receive a broad-based knowledge of geology for the E&P business. Her focus is on deepening her knowledge in upstream processes, geological structures, seismic and geophysical methods, and feasibility studies of petroleum projects. She returned to Korea to continue working for Korea Gas Corp.
