Mr. Berberoglu graduated in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Geophysical Engineering from Ankara University, Turkey. After graduation, he was awarded a full scholarship from Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) to pursue his graduate studies in the US. He joined Rice’s Subsurface Geoscience Program to specialize in petroleum geoscience and gain an understanding of the management of the oil and gas industry. During his graduate studies, he also participated in AAPG’s IBA Program. Gokay interned with Halliburton/Landmark, Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE), and Baker Hughes. In 2013, he returned to Turkey to work for TPAO.
