Mr. Kubik graduated from State University of New York Buffalo State with a B.A. in Geology in 2014. His strong interest in the oil and gas industry and preference for industry over academia lead him to come to Rice and join the Professional Master’s Program. With the interdisciplinary curriculum and practical training, he plans on pursuing a career in gas and oil exploration. He will now focus on the geology track in Subsurface Geoscience. Brian is pursuing an academic internship with Dr. Droxler at Rice.
