Ms. Kristen Holbrook graduated from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville with a B.S. in Geology – Environmental Studies in 2022. She participated in several prominent internship programs including two appointments at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Kristen spent two years completing original research with Dr. Jill Mikucki in cryosphere microbial ecology which has inspired her to pursue a career in the exploration of our water worlds. Ms. Holbrook is currently attending Rice University in the Professional Science Masters - Space Studies concentration. This program is geared to provide the tools she will need for effective and ethical management as well as continuing her scientific education. She hopes for a long career working with and leading interdisciplinary teams on missions of space exploration.
