Becker
Riley Becker graduated from Concordia University Texas with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Conservation in 2023. Through the course of his undergraduate studies, he interned with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, where he gained valuable exposure and experience with ecological risk assessments, environmental toxicology, chemical fate and transport, and surface and groundwater remediation. He also engaged in research and conservation efforts on- and off-campus, as he served as the student expert on the endangered golden-cheeked warbler, as well as volunteering with the Texas Master Naturalist Balcones Canyonlands Chapter. Riley is currently enrolled in Rice University’s Professional Master’s of Science program in Environmental Analysis. He hopes to work in environmental remediation and believes that the program will allow him to expand upon the knowledge he’s already gained and teach him the necessary skills and tools needed to take on the environmental issues of today and the future.
