Naghmeh Hosseini completed a master’s degree in applied chemistry. After earning her degree from Iran, she began working with consulting firms on various water treatment projects. She was also trained to support litigations as a consulting or testifying expert for the capital city.

She attended the Professional Science master’s program in Environmental Analysis at Rice University to broaden her knowledge and advance her career. She completed the program's required internship in the City of Houston at the health department(HHD), where she worked on air quality projects.

Her future career goal is to work in areas related to environmental services.
