Mr. Hoon Hee Han graduated from the University of Seoul in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Geoinformatics Engineering. After graduation, he worked as a national researcher for the government for ten years based on his college-acquired geospatial information expertise such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing. In particular, he focused on analyzing events around the world using satellite images and recently researched climate change, public health, and food issues in the new security field. Continuing his research on emerging security, he realized the need for knowledge in the environmental field. For this purpose, he enrolled PSM Environmental Analysis Program at Rice University to expand his academic understanding and learn analytical skills. He wishes to present solutions to environmental issues through geospatial analysis and contribute to the establishment of national policies in the future.
