Ms. Lopez graduated with a bachelor of Arts in Environmental Engineering Sciences and with a minor in Energy and Water Sustainability from Rice University, May 2011. During her studies abroad at the University of Cambridge in the summer of 2009, she delved into the history and revelations of Charles Darwin as well as traveled the UK. At Rice, her passion for environmental studies enabled her to contribute to the University by being a College Eco-Rep for 2 years. Ms. Lopez designed and built a Butterfly Garden for Duncan College as an Eco-Rep student project and was also a member of the Solar Decathlon Team which competed nationally in 2009. Ms. Lopez currently works for Burns & McDonnell Engineering as an Assistant Environmental Engineer. She thoroughly enjoys the environmental industry and wishes to pursue her PSM while working in order to expand her knowledge of management and business practices in a science related field. She accepted employment with Chevron after graduation.
