Ms. Gomez graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 2011 from the Saint Peter’s University. During her undergraduate studies , she assisted in research studying the many morphological changes undifferentiated adult stem cell can undergo. This research had a huge impact in Telma’s decision to become more involve the decision making process when it comes to advancements in research and Health Policy. She is currently enrolled in the the PSM program in Bioscience and Health Policy at Rice to learn more of the policy and research decision-making process needed to achieve her goals. Telma did an internship with Rosellini Scientific. Telma accepted employment as a Clinical Research Associate at ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group, and is now working for UTMB, Galveston, TX.
