Mr. Chris Boucher graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 with a B.S. In Microbiology. During his undergraduate studies, he assisted in research concerning the sporulation patterns of Clostridium Difficile bacteria and how they are affected by different concentrations of bile acids found within the gastrointestinal tract. During his senior year he also participated in field research in Costa Rica where he observed the interactions between the venoms of rain forest predators and their prey, while also researching how these venoms affect the human body on a biochemical level. Starting in August 2017, he is pursuing a professional master’s degree in Bioscience and Health Policy at Rice University in order to combine his experience and interests in research with the practical and impactful applications of health policy. Chris interned with Replete Biotics during the summer.
