Ms. Wright graduated from Rice University in May 2015 with a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted independent research under the guidance of Dr. James Tour at Rice University and Dr. Frederick Pereira at Baylor College of Medicine. She was a participant in the Rice Undergraduate Scholars Program, an Honors program focused on independent research and scientific writing. She decided to pursue a PSM in Bioscience and Health Policy to expand her knowledge of public health, healthcare decision-making, and healthcare policy before entering a Doctorate of Pharmacy program. Abigail secured an internship with UTMB in Galveston during the summer of 2015. She has accepted a Pharmacy School offer from the University of Houston and will begin her Pharm.D. studies in the Fall of 2016.
