Technology Collaboration Center :

The Technology Collaboration Center is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit formed as a partnership between the NASA Johnson Space Center, industry and universities, solving challenging technology problems through innovative solutions by connecting collaboration partners from across technology sectors.

As a member-driven organization, TCC members participate on the Board of Directors and Advisory Council, aligning the TCC's mission and programs with the needs of members and the community. The TCC offers a number of services and programs for the members and technology community in Houston. These include Collaboration Concierge Services, Onsite Seminars, Workshops and Strategic Challenge Program.

Global Space/US Market:

  1. The Space Economy in Figures: How Space Contributes to the Global Economy : It’s a great report that expands on relevant topics such as the “ongoing transformation of the global space sector” and the “socio-economic impacts of space investments.” It has a lot of information regarding the global industry but you can skip to different chapters, including one that focuses on the U.S. Market.
  2. The Space Report 2019 Q1: Current activities and developments in the global space industry with a focus on the U.S market. Section 3 is all about “Topics Covered in Space Infrastructure” such as satellites, spacecrafts, landers, etc It also talks about U.S. Space Industry Employment and Salaries.
  3. Global Space Strategies and Best Practices : This report is a consulting research paper provided to the Australian government highlighting possible economic opportunties within the space industry. The first half, however, is solely focused on the global space. It is interesting to see how consulting firms can contribute.
  4. BoAML - Thematic Investing in Global Space - Don't get intimated by the length, it's another good report looking at Space in terms of business and finance. Good to skim through.

The Houston office of MDA US Systems, LLC, provides real-time engineering support for all MDA robotic activities on ISS. MDA’s (formerly SPAR Aerospace’s) ISS robotics currently include the 58 foot-long 7-DOF Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS), which performed the original ISS assembly, and the 15-DOF Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator (SPDM), which provides daily ISS maintenance and frees up astronaut time for more science work. MDA US Systems provides integration support and assists with anomaly resolution for any issues faced during the many complex first-time operations being performed in orbit. The Rothe Companies
