Sufyan Alnahdi is a soon-to-be graduate of the Rice University Professional Science Master's (PSM) program in Energy Geoscience. After completing his Bachelor's degree in Geology from the esteemed King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia, Sufyan gained over five years of practical experience as an Exploration Geologist at Saudi Aramco, where he honed his technical skills in surface geology, wellsite operations, and exploration support. Drawn to the program's industry-focused curriculum and research opportunities, Sufyan is now poised to deepen his expertise in hydrocarbon exploration and production. As a PSM student, he is particularly interested in applying advanced geophysical and petrophysical techniques to unlock new energy resources and support Saudi Arabia's continued leadership in the global energy landscape. Upon graduation, Sufyan aspires to return to Saudi Aramco, where he can leverage his multifaceted geoscientific knowledge and passion for innovation to drive the company's exploration efforts forward.
