David Alexandro Juarez is an aspiring geoscientist pursuing a Master of Science in Energy Geoscience at Rice University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Science from Columbia University. David has hands-on experience as a Staff Scientist Intern at TRC Companies, Inc., where he was integral to a PCB remediation project, conducting air monitoring, soil sampling, and documentation. His technical expertise includes proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, R, and other geospatial and analytical tools. David also has experience in seismology, having completed a Seismology Skill Building Workshop with IRIS Consortium, where he developed skills in seismic data analysis and Linux operating systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish, David is committed to applying his knowledge and skills in geoscience to solve complex environmental challenges.
