Christine Reimer graduated with a B.A. in Earth and Oceanographic Science from Bowdoin
College in May 2024. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted a research project in
petrology, focusing on explosive silicic magma systems in New Zealand's Taupo Volcanic Zone.
Through this project, she gained hands-on experience operating a scanning electron microscope
(SEM), analyzing geochemical data, collaborating with an international research team, and
developing strong science communication skills. Christine is now pursuing a Professional
Science Master's in Energy Geoscience at Rice University, where she is taking courses in seismic
data interpretation, well logging, exploration geophysics, and more. She is passionate about the
dynamic, innovative, and rapidly evolving nature of the energy industry and is eager to
contribute to the advancements shaping its future.
