Mr. Nathan Price graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Economics. Nathan has several decades of experience in the tech industry working at several companies including NeoSoft, T1 Design, Compaq, HP, and Anaplan. He has filled roles including developer, tech lead, business analyst, business partner, and manager. Simultaneously he has maintained his interest in space through personal projects and participating in space-related organizations and activities. He founded the North Houston Space Society, a local chapter of the National Space Society (NSS), which seeks to educate and inspire the community about our present and future in space. The Countdown to the Moon project captures the public perceptions about space and our future through casual one on one interviews. He has attended several space conferences including New Worlds, International Space Development Conference (ISDC), and the International Astronautical Congress (IAC). In 2022 he started a new career at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) where he is currently training as a flight controller supporting the International Space Station (ISS) in the Electrical, Thermal, and Mechanical branch. Mr. Nathan Price is currently enrolled in Rice University’s Professional Master’s of Science Program in Space Studies. He plans to acquire the skills and knowledge to make a substantial contribution toward humanity reaching out into the stars.
