Mr. Eric Peng graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with a B.S. double major in Physics and Astronomy. During his time there he assisted in the manufacturing and testing of spectrographs for the VIRUS (Visible Integral-Field Replicable Unit Spectrographs) project. After graduating, he worked in Thorlabs Inc. as an applications engineer, assisting customers with integrating the company’s products into their projects. Eric is currently enrolled in Rice University’s Professional Master’s of Science Program in Space Studies. He hopes to work in space exploration, using his experience to advance systems designs and operations.
