Ms. Aayushi Doshi is an international student at Rice who graduated from the University of Mumbai, India in 2021. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Physics and is currently pursuing a Masters in Space Studies with a focus in AstroSciences. During her undergrad, she completed various courses and workshops to gain knowledge in Astrophysics and Astronomy. She then went on to work with the Society for Space Education Research and Development (SSERD) for a 2-month research internship in the field of exoplanet detection and worked as a teacher for the younger generation of scientists to learn about space science as a part of this organization. She has an innate drive for social service for her community. Aayushi is also part of the Lunar Gravitational Wave Antenna (LGWA) group and is currently in process of writing a proposal for the European Space Agency (ESA). At Rice, she is doing her research in Astrophysics, particularly in finding the variability of T-Tauri stars. She is determined to be a Space Scientist with a particular interest in gravitational wave research.
