Ms. Rios Rivera received her bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de las Americas Puebla in Puebla, Mexico in 2007. At her university, Esther participated in a thesis project related to water contamination, conducting abundant laboratory research and data evaluation. Esther chose the Rice PSM program to expand her background in civil engineering towards the environmental field with the goal to work in the environmental consulting business after graduation. Esther accepted an internship with Chevron's Government Relations department and accepted a research position under Amy Jaffe, Associate Director of the Rice Energy Program. Esther accepted an employment offer from Gamesa, Inc. Esther moved on in 2013 is now working as a management consultant for Arthur D. Little specializing in oil and gas for Latin America.In 2016, Esther accepted a new position with Navigant as Managing Consultant.
