Scott Brown received his B.S in Biotechnology from the University of Houston in December of
2020. Since then, he has worked in medical and biological research firms on the cutting edge of
gene therapy, such as including Baylor College of Medicine and Lonza Biologics. He has now
joined the Professional Science Master’s program focusing on Bioscience and Health Policy to
further his interests in the funding side of scientific research as well as to aid in crafting
legislation to encourage equitable health services for those who need them. Mr. Brown hopes to
make an impact on both the study of biology and how knowledge of that research is implemented
to assist the most vulnerable members of society.
