Rebekah Trevino graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024 with a B.S.A. in
Biology (Pre-med), a minor in Health Reform and Innovation, and a certificate in Spanish for
Medical Professions. During her undergraduate studies, she contributed to research on plant
genetics, specifically examining the effects of certain genes on the model organism Arabidopsis.
Rebekah has gained experience working on diverse projects, including research lab operations
and the development of preventative healthcare initiatives. She is currently pursuing a degree in
Bioscience and Health Policy at Rice University to deepen her understanding of healthcare and
its application to policy development.
