Ngoc Nguyen graduated from University of Houston in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and minor in Chemistry. She has spent the past three years as a research assistant in the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, where she contributed to clinical trials focused on lifestyle interventions to improve frailty and bone quality in older veterans with obesity. She is pursuing a Professional Science Master’s degree in Bioscience and Health Policy, with a focus on healthcare management and health business administration. She aims to strengthen healthcare operations and administration to better serve patients and providers by advancing systemic improvements in the healthcare system through strategic management, evidence-based policies, and innovative administrative solutions.
