Danna Carrero is an international MD graduate from Colombia, currently pursuing a master’s degree in Bioscience and Health Policy at Rice University. She has hands-on experience in clinical research in immunology with patient-centered projects, in addition to her clinical practice across multiple specialties, where she developed strong skills in direct patient care.Her current interests and goals center on improving clinical operations, leading patient-centered initiatives, and advancing clinical research. She is particularly passionate about integrating data-driven approaches, managing clinical trials efficiently, and supporting precision medicine initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery. Danna believes that comprehending and advancing scientific knowledge contributes to evidence-based policies that translate into practical healthcare solutions, ultimately improving patient outcomes and driving meaningful changes in the medical field.
