P.E. Certification
Interested in obtaining a P.E. Certification? Engineers seeking licensure must complete an undergraduate and/or graduate degree, gain at least four years of experience under a Professional Engineer, pass two rigorous competency exams, and obtain a license from their state's licensure board. It's also recommended to become a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
LEED Certification
For LEED Certification, the Leading Green Organization offers certification through registration at leadinggreen.com/houston. Kirksey Architects also provide a free course every three months for those who prefer not to pay for a LEED course. Additionally, Rice offers a COLL 186 course designed to prepare students for the LEED Green Associates Program.
