Mr. Zachary Steele graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He subsequently spent a year at the University of Texas at El Paso as a Phd student in behavioral neuroscience conducting research in nicotine addiction. After deciding not to purse research any further, he enrolled at the University of Houston where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in geophysics. He has worked two full time summer internships at Castex Energy in Houston where he learned the basics of hydrocarbon exploration. He also gained geophysical field experience at Santa Fe, New Mexico by participating in a summer educational program called SAGE. He is now enrolled in the Professional Masters in Subsurface Geoscience program at Rice University.
