Mr. Carman graduated from Rice University in 2013 with a B.S. in physics and chemical physics. He has experience working as a research assistant at Rice and at Air Force Research Laboratories, producing carbon nanotube fibers and characterizing the mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties of these fibers. His undergraduate research thesis examined methods of particle identification in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions. He is now enrolled in the Space Studies track of Rice’s Professional Science Master’s program with a focus in engineering. Garrett is interning with NASA/Langley.
