Ms. Johnson graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2015 with a B.S. in Biology with an environmental specialization. Her senior thesis focused on quantifying the biodiversity of an ecosystem overrun by an invasive species. While at TLU, Sawyer spent a summer as a research assistant, collecting and processing plant specimens in order to track plant populations in and around the Seguin, Texas area. She is following her passion for environmental sustainability by continuing her studies in the Environmental Analysis and Decision Making program with a focus on Environmental Sustainability at Rice University.
