Ms. Swati Patel graduated from Rutgers University in 2014 with a B.S. in Astrophysics with a focus on engineering and a minor in Asian Studies. While at Rutgers, she co-founded and led the dance team HARU, which was selected to perform and placed at the New York University Skirball Center for Performing Arts. Ms. Patel also presided over the Japanese Conversation Club and the Rutgers University Organization of Nippon Students, eventually assisting Fukui City ambassadors as a cultural attaché. For her senior practicum, Ms. Patel collected multi-channel data through Hydrogen Alpha Emission lines on the Andromeda Galaxy at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in West Virginia. She additionally interned at the New Jersey chapter of Youth Empowerment Services while employed at Jerich International Logistics Company as a Data Analyst. Post-graduation, Ms. Patel served as the Assistant Director for C2 Education for pre-collegiate programs in calculus and engineering. Ms. Patel is tri-lingual, with working knowledge in two additional languages. Swati joined both the Professional Science Master’s in Space Studies and the MBA program as part of the Coordinated MBA/PSM program option. She interned with Boeing and will continue working there once she has graduated.
