Ms. Xie received a B.S. degree in Geophysics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2007 and a Master degree in Geophysics from Princeton University in 2009. She acquired research experience in Seismology in her junior year and did her thesis project on Geodynamics. At Princeton, she focused on experimental Mineral Physics. Lisha decided to continue graduate study in Rice University to enhance technical knowledge on Petroleum Geosciences, which will better prepare her for a career in the oil and gas industry. She is participating at an internship with PGS and accepted employment with Schlumberger.
