Mr. Fortune Tolumofe Oyewole graduated from the University of Lagos in Lagos, Nigeria, in

2022 with a B.S. in Geophysics. During his program, he worked extensively on Field

Development Planning and Exploration Geoscience Projects hosted by the EAGE Laurie Dake

Challenge. This program sparked his initial interest in production geoscience. He then interned

at Degeconek Nigeria in Lagos, Nigeria, as a Geoscience Intern. He completed projects on

Seismic Interpretation and Formation Evaluation. He contributed to the discovery of crude oil

deposits in the Kolmani River II Well on the Upper Benue Trough, Gongola Basin, north Eastern

Nigeria. He also received Rock Physics training sponsorship from iKon Science. In 2020, he

worked as a Machine Learning Analyst with HugoTech. Fortune held an annotation record of

98% and led training seminars on Machine Learning Models. In his final year, he worked on

Groundwater Contamination Potential within the Lagos Coastal Area, combining remote

sensing, laboratory analysis, and pumping tests and successfully validating results with

Geophysical investigation. Upon graduation, he enrolled in a DevOps internship with Stanbic

IBTC, Lagos, Nigeria. Fortune has chosen the Professional Science Master's program in Energy

Geoscience to obtain a career in Hydrocarbon Exploration and Asset Management.
