Ms. Subieta graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University in 2011. She then joined Eastman Chemical Company as a Chemical Engineer supporting polymer manufacturing lines and leading process improvement projects. Through this work, she gained first-hand experience in the relationship between industry and the environment. She also developed an interest in enhancing her skill-set in this field. Karina is currently pursuing a Professional Science Master's degree with a focus in Environmental Analysis and Decision Making at Rice University to advance her professional goals of providing environmental services that business needs while supporting the viability of industry and the environment. Karina completed an internship with Weston Solutions. She was hired as staff engineer in the Air Quality and Climate Change department of ERM Consulting.
