Ms. Flatt graduated with honors from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Sciences. She has previously completed internships with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and NRG Energy, with both internships heavily emphasizing coastal concepts and management. Ms. Flatt enrolled in the Professional Science Master’s graduate student at Rice University within the Environmental Analysis and Decision Making track. Her goal was to work as a coastal environmental consultant for a company that merges environmental principles with business strategy to develop a holistic approach to sustainable development. Christy secured an internship with Cheniere Energy in Houston and is working with them full-time after graduation.
