Paige Roth

Ms. Roth graduated from Trinity University in 2015 with a B.S. in Biology and English. During her undergraduate studies, she researched a nitric-oxide inhibitor’s effects on plant tissue optics and acted as the managing editor of the professional literary journal, 1966, which published research-based creative nonfiction. While at Trinity, Paige started and authored the Trinity University Undergraduate Research Blog which chronicled over fifty STEM and humanities research projects and is still actively maintained by the university Marketing Communications department today. Before arriving in Houston in the fall, Paige interned in the Communications and Public Affairs department at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. Paige hopes to combine her love of high level science and health communications and policy in Rice’s PSM Bioscience Research and Health Policy program. Paige secured an internship with Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). After graduation, Paige is attending VET school.
