Huang
Ms. Elaine Huang graduated from Rice University in 2022 with a B.A. in Kinesiology and a minor in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Since graduating, she has been working as a research assistant in an infectious disease lab studying host-pathogen interactions, specifically the role of metal-sensing in bacterial survival and its effects on disease progression. Ms. Huang is enrolled in the Bioscience and Health Policy program because she is interested in expanding her knowledge in biotechnology and understanding how basic science is used to inform health policy.
