Andrew Mike

Mr. Mike graduated from the University of Florida in 2018 with a B.S. in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, and competed for the Gators all fours years as an offensive lineman. His capstone internship was completed at the UF Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute. After his time at Florida he joined the Rice football team to finish his career as an Owl, and as a graduate student in Bioscience and Health Policy program to pursue a career in the medical field. During his time at Rice he worked at M.D. Andreson in the behavioral science department as a research assistant under Nathan Parker, PhD, and interned at University Florida College of Medicine’s Equal Access Clinic Network for his PSM project thesis. Having graduated in 2020, Mr. Mike now is pursing a career in medicine by integrating what he learned at Rice’s PSM to help his future patients as he applies to medical school.
